Mad Dog & Merrill

Meet The Ambassadors

Meet Mad Dog & Merrill, internationally recognized television personalities and hosts of the TV series, Midwest Grill’n.

With over 38 years in the business, Mad Dog & Merrill are the ideal grilling experts to further create excitement and enthusiasm for this popular pastime. They have spent decades entertaining and educating thousands of backyard enthusiasts every year on the benefits of grilling. They strive is to make everyone a better griller as they travel the country performing in front of live audiences and hosting the TV series Midwest Grill’n.

Mad Dog & Merrill grill to educate, and we at HPBA, are excited to work with them in July and beyond to share their story. Through this partnership, we will encourage grillers everywhere to answer the resounding question #WhyIGrill.

“We started grilling for the fun of it all. Now 35 years later, we enjoy teaching backyard grillers how to think out of the box, experiment on the grill, and become a ‘Grillogist’ of their own.” – Mad Dog & Merrill

Tips

  • Preheat your grill on high for at least 5 minutes before grilling. This will burn off some of the burnt-on foods from the previous cookout. That’s the Griller’s High Five!
  • When grilling with charcoal, make sure your coals are good ’n grey before putting the food on.
  • Use a different plate to serve your meat than when you started.
