Meet Chris Grove, published cookbook author, 3x certified food judge, competition pittmaster and blogger behind Nibble Me This.

“I’m excited to work with Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association to tell grillers everywhere Why I Grill during the cooler winter months. First, I like to BBQ & grill when the temperatures drop because I want my food to taste as good as it does in the summer. Second, cooler temps bring comfort foods, such as; chili, pot roasts, stews, and tamales. Most importantly though, I like to grill during winter’s shorter days because getting outside is the best way to fight off the ‘winter blahs’.” – Chris Grove

Chris Grove’s obsession with grilling and barbecue has led him on a culinary adventure. He created and has published the popular BBQ & grilling blog, Nibble Me This, since 2008. Chris is the author of two BBQ and grilling cookbooks (Ulysses Press) and has been the primary photographer for multiple other cookbooks. He and his wife are both certified food judges for 3 different sanctioning bodies. His BBQ & grilling team appears at food festivals and competes in BBQ contests across the Southern United States.
